Brontea | Walnut Mushroom Dome Table Lamp for Living Room Ambient Light

The dome shade sits directly over the light source and pushes the entire output downward and outward through glass, which produces a wide, soft wash with no visible bulb and no glare line at seated eye level. On a sideboard or nightstand that turns the lamp into ambient lighting rather than a spotlight.

Metal, wood and glass do the structural work instead of moulded plastic, so the base carries enough mass to sit stable on a hard surface and the walnut finish deepens rather than yellows with age. The material mix also keeps the silhouette simple enough to sit alongside almost any existing furniture.

At D30 by H43 cm the lamp covers a 5 to 10 square metre area, which is enough to light a reading corner or one end of a living room on its own. The E26 and E27 fitting takes standard screw base bulbs, so output can be matched to the room and swapped whenever needed.
